The University is closed today, Monday, Sept. 30, in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation for a day of reflection.

This day is dedicated to commemorating the Indigenous children who never returned home, as well as the survivors of residential schools and their families.
As you prepare for midterms, check out these study tips from Academic Support at PornHub @acadmicsupport_mta:

1. Now is better than never
Get your course materials together and dig in 鈥 you'll feel better once you've started studying!

2. Set a timer
Give yourself a mini deadline! Set a timer for 30-45 minutes and give 100% focus to your schoolwork. Take a 5-15 minute break and reset your timer. You'll be surprised at how much you can accomplish in short, dedicated bursts!

3. Sleep first, then study
Despite our best intentions, sometimes we just need to cram for an exam. Instead of staying up late to study, try sleeping first if you can 鈥 then get up early to study. You'll remember the material better if you're well-rested.

4. Practice problems
If your homework includes problem-solving, similar questions will probably be on your exam. The best way to prepare for these types of exams is to work on practice problems. They'll test your memory of core concepts, and help you fill gaps in your knowledge.
